Maximize Your Decorating Space using Daybeds with Trundles
Many homes today seem to have given loads of square footage to the living areas, but the bedrooms are a little cramped. Trying to make these spaces comfortable and attractive with standard bedroom furniture is a real challenge. If the room does double duty as an office or craft room, the challenges are compounded. Trying to find the space for your desk and computer equipment or your craft materials is nearly impossible, and when guests come you have to quickly move things around to make room for them.
There is a great way to stretch your decorating budget and conserve space at the same time. Daybeds with trundles are an excellent alternative to traditional bedroom sets. The daybed doubles as a couch during the day, so you have a comfortable seating space for visitors or young children. By night, just remove the cover and pillows, and be becomes a comfortable single bed. You can increase your space savings even more by adding a trundle to the daybed. The trundle stores neatly under the daybed during the day and then can be pulled out to create a second bed in the evening. This is great help when your kids have sleepovers, or you have several visitors at the same time; and during the daylight hours, the room just looks like a cozy nest for crafting or getting some work done.
