Why Children Love Storage Beds

Secret compartments, great places to store their items…it is no wonder that children love Kids Storage Beds. If you are considering the investment in children’s furniture, do consider the benefits that storage beds offer to any area. These are much like platform beds in that they allow the user to sleep on comfortable mattresses. The mattress will sit on a platform. Under that platform, numerous drawers and cabinets fill the space. Because of the lack of a box spring mattress and the slightly raised feel of these beds, there is often ample space for between four and six drawers and sometimes-small cabinets, too.

Kids Love Storage

From art projects to all of their fun play clothes, kids have many things. Storing those items can be difficult in the average kid’s bedroom, since there may be just one closet, a set of drawers and one Children’s Student Desk in the area. However, when you add storage beds to the space, you can double the amount of storage you have in the room. Remember that there are drawers on either side of these, which may mean you have as many as 8 to 12 drawers of added space in the room.

What do you do with all of that space? Give each section its own special purpose. Besides storing them in Children’s Dressers and Chests, clothing most definitely can be in any of these drawers. However, if you want something more than this to be stored here, consider the following tips.

1. Have one drawer for all of your child’s dress up clothes including all of their fun shoes and dresses.

2. Consider purchasing Wooden Platform Beds with cabinets under them. All the sports equipment your child has will conveniently fit underneath in these spaces.

3. Allow your child to place his or her craft projects in another of the storage bed drawers, instead of putting them on TV Armoires Furniture.

4. Give them the opportunity to place toys in these spaces to keep. Perhaps one section can be just for their Legos while another is the perfect place for action figures. Even put in some Sheets and Pillowcase Linens.

5. Use the sections for school projects, scrapbooking supplies, pictures or anything else a teen might want to store away.

The good news is that kids love these because they provide them with so much room. Some have King Bookcase Headboards that include shelves for books and trinkets. You may even find those platform beds without a headboard, if that is the style that you are after. In either case, your child will love all the places they can place their things.

When buying Children’s Bedroom Furniture, do think about area, too. When you have these drawers and storage space under the bed, you free up more area within the actual bedroom. This gives your child more space to play and to have friends over in their room. It can also save you some money. You do not have to buy numerous pieces of bedroom furniture. Storage beds are an excellent investment for any family with kids, young or old and who want to reclaim their room for more than just storage.
