Would Sir Lancelot Have liked a Metal Bed?

Many history fans love reading about various time periods and imagining how people lived then.   On the flip side, lots of people enjoy fantasizing about how famous individuals from various periods of history might enjoy modern times. For example, what kind of car would King Tut drive? What would Queen Elizabeth I think about the internet?  Simpler still, what kind of bed would Sir Lancelot have liked if he had today’s selection?  That question, though, may be too easy. He probably would have chosen a King Size Metal Beds, because of their vast size and durability, and the metal accents probably wouldn’t hurt.

Although there are lots of types of metal beds out there in the world today, one style that would probably catch his eye are Wrought Iron Beds.  A style like this often evokes thoughts of castles and the time period with which Lancelot would have been so familiar, so he might feel most at home with that type of bed.

Of course Sir Lancelot would not have only his own needs to consider.  He would also have to think about what kind of bed Guinevere would like.  While she would probably also love the look of a metal bed, the chances seem good that a Metal Canopy Bed would be more her style  In addition to the beautiful metal look, she could also drape beautiful fabrics to make the canopy.  Such a bed would be perfect for any castle, then or today.
