Banyan Dresser

Besides a bed, the one furniture item that every bedroom absolutely must have is a dresser or chest of drawers.  You need a place to store your clothes, and a handsome, low built dresser can do double duty as a makeup table or a dressing table.  To use it in this fashion, simply add a large mirror on the wall behind the dresser.  A well constructed dresser will stand up to many years of use and still be in good condition when you are ready for a change, so that you can repurpose it in another room of the house.
